Sonepat, Sept 09: Bollywood actress famous as glamour girl Mallika Sherawat plans to settle down in Sonepat after leaving acting in films. She has become the resident of Sonepat as she has purchased residential plot no 547 measuring 263 yards in Sector 7 along the National Highway No 1 and got it registered at a cost of Rs 18 lakh through his father M K Lamba, who is posted as the Superintendent Engineer, Irrigation Department in Delhi.

The registry of the plot was carried out in the office of the Sub-Registrar (Tehsil Office) here yesterday but it was purchased on August 31 from the owner Prem Singh Dhamija of Sanjay Enclave, GTK Depot, Delhi. Two photos of the actress were pasted on the papers of registry.

In her photographs, Mallika was seen donning an attractive cricket-player like jersey. In the registry papers, Mallika used the name Reema Lamba. Before taking up acting and the name `Mallika Sherawat`, the actress` was named Reema by her parents at the time of her birth. Officials said today that the price of the plot was much more than it was shown at the time of registry. Mallika`s father did not respond to questions regarding the exact price of the plot, .
